RAL color system for our paints and decorations (silkscreenings) and deliver consistent

Large Tight-Head Steel Drums For Liquids
Greif's 160- to 250-liter/42- to 66-gallon drums comply with stringent UN regulations
for packing non-dangerous and dangerous goods in the packaging groups I, II and
III. The global standard drum, with a capacity of 216.5 liter/55 gallon, complies
with the ISO 15750 standard and other major international standards for steel drums
(ANSI, EN).
Greif's steel drums are provided with a Spiraltainer™ configuration (also called
W-hoop) that combines a superior vacuum resistance with a more efficient loading
in standard 20- and 40-ft. freight containers. In addition, traditional drums with
expanded beads (ANSI hoops) are also available worldwide. The vertical seam is electrically
welded, and the bottom and the top are seamed to the drum body. The Greif Spiralon™
triple seam and other quality factors guarantee a safe performance. Greif's drums
can be internally coated with a phenolic, epoxy-phenolic or a special lining in
accordance with the RDL® lining system.
Greif provides customers with technical assistance in determining the ideal lining
for the specific purpose. Greif offers a range of standard gauge combinations, covering
the required UN performance level for practically all filling goods. Optionally,
special solutions are available for specific drums for extra high performance.Greif

Large Open-Head Steel Drums For Solids & Liquids
Greif's 160- to 250-liter/42- to 66-gallon open-head drums comply with stringent
UN regulations for packing non-dangerous and dangerous goods in the packaging groups
II and III. Greif's steel open-head drums are provided with conventional beads and
curl in use for many years and available worldwide. According to customer requirements,
Greif can also supply an ISO Open-Head drum with a Spiraltainer™ configuration providing,
in combination with a reduced diameter of the opening, more efficient loading in
standard 20- and 40-ft. freight containers.
The completely removable lid can be supplied with various gaskets and can be closed
in different ways. The closing rings have a lever or a nut and bolt closure. The
removable lid can also be provided with the optimum safety 2" and 3/4" Tri-Sure®
4S® closures which can be sealed with Tri-Sure Tab-Seal® Caps. The Greif Spiralon
triple seam and other quality factors guarantee a safer performance. Greif drums

Conical (Tapered) Drums
Greif manufactures the conical drum in Greece, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Egypt
and Brazil. In the U.S.A., conical drums are known as tapered drums. Conical drums,
which are internally coated and externally painted, are available in a standard
capacity of 220 liters/58 gallons. Additionally, several operations offer 194-liter/51-gallon
conical drums. Empty conical drums can be nested and palletized, providing considerable
savings in both storage space and transport costs.
Overall external diameter of the drum makes it possible to store four drums in line
- over the width - of an ISO shipping container (80 drums can be loaded in a 20-ft.
shipping container). Conical drums may be returned and re-used. They can easily
be re-conditioned.
